Welcome! This is the first step to enrolling you in the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards program. Based on your eligible Monetta accounts, you can earn guaranteed minimum scholarships worth up to 25% of the cost of tuition at more than 235 private colleges and universities across the country!

• The Tuition Rewards program is being provided, at no cost to you by Monetta Financial Services, Inc.

• Tuition Rewards are issued to the students you sponsor in the program each year on a student’s birthday. From age 1 – 11 a student will receive 500 Tuition Rewards Points; from age 12 – 14 a student will receive 750 Tuition Rewards Points; and, from age 15 – 17 a student will receive 1,000 Tuition Rewards Points. Additionally, all students, as well as you – the “sponsor” – will receive a 500 point enrollment “bonus” upon the completion of registration.

• Each Tuition Reward point is equivalent to a $1.00 guaranteed minimum scholarship at any of our member colleges and universities. A full list of member colleges and universities is always available online at www.tuitionrewards.com.

• The maximum amount of Tuition Rewards that any one college will accept is 25% of the current cost of four years of tuition; as of 9/1/09, the current maximum at any member college is approximately $39,520. Some member colleges accept less than 25%, typically between $10,800 and $15,600 – see the college list at www.tuitionrewards.com for a complete listing of how much each school is obligated to accept.

• An example of how it works. After 10 years, you have accumulated 25,000 Tuition Reward points, and your student applies and is accepted to a SAGE member school that accepts up to 25,000 points and...

1. The school awards your child a total of $15,000 ($3,750 per year) in scholarships and other discounts...
The school is obligated to increase the total discount to $25,000 ($6,250 per year) to match the amount in your Tuition Rewards account or
2. The school awards your child no scholarships or discounts...
The school is obligated to provide your child a scholarship or discount of at least $25,000 ($6,250/yr)
3. The school awards your child a scholarship worth $25,000 ($6,250 per year)... or
The school has met its obligation to the program by providing a scholarship or discount of at least the value of your Tuition Rewards account

• There are three very important deadlines that you must be aware of to use your Tuition Rewards:

1. Enrollment: You must add eligible students (children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members) to our system by
Aug. 31st at the beginning of the junior year of high school.

2. Allocation: Tuition Rewards are earned and reported to your account. You must allocate points to students by August 31st at the start of the senior year in high school. After this deadline, a student’s Reward account cannot be increased.

3. Submission: You must submit a Tuition Rewards statement to any member college to which your student applies at the time of the student’s application to the school. Statements submitted late to member colleges may not be accepted for tuition reduction.

Tuition Rewards are remitted solely as a reduction from the college’s full tuition bill and are not awarded in cash. Certain restrictions may apply. The Tuition Rewards program is offered and administered by SAGE Scholars, Inc., a private for-profit corporation. Monetta Financial Services, Inc., (MFSI) through a partnership with SAGE Scholars offers a college tuition reduction program that may be used at over 235 participating colleges nationwide. All costs for the College Savings Program, including participation in the Tuition Rewards Program, are paid by MFSI. For program details and restrictions please visit www.tuitionrewards.com.

Tuition Reward registration bonus points are issued one time only. If the investor and/or student already has a Tuition Rewards account through Monetta or another SAGE financial partner, he or she is not eligible for additional registration points.

For custodial accounts, MFSI has a "college savings program" where the Monetta Shareholders automatically receive an investment kit, a quarterly newsletter, various educational materials and in addition, if enrolled, will receive Tuition Rewards.

All costs for the College Savings Program, including participation in the Tuition Rewards Program, are paid by MFSI.
